This mural celebrates the unique wetlands system of the Louisiana Gulf Coast. More than 70,000 precisely hand-cut, hand-glazed, hand placed tiles comprise this mural. The title refers to the Bayou Falaya which flows through the Covington area. The piece was fabricated and installed with Mosaika Art and Design Studios.
