This 20-foot-high Blue Heron stands on a 6-foot platform at the entrance to the Oso Bay Nature Preserve and Learning Center in Corpus Christi. The Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve is located on 162 acres of land at the Wooldridge Road. The sculpture named "Rusty" holds a wriggling fish in it's beak and represents the preserve's mission to promote nature.
