Reality's Illusion consists of seven mosaic panels installed at the John D Hawk Elementary School in Bremerton, Washington, near Seattle. The project was part of Washington State’s Percentage for the Arts program.
The seven 47 inches x 47 inches mosaic panels are crafted from glass and hand glazed tile, along with hand formed cast glass and ceramic pieces. The panels were designed with the flourishing microscopic ecosystems of the Olympia Peninsula in mind. Rich in texture and color, each panel includes hidden elements, unique shapes, and images to be discovered by students and adults alike.
