BURKHART CENTER FOR AUTISM EDUCATION AND RESEARCH AT
TEXAS TECH UNIVERISTY
My concept for this glass project was to incorporate natural plant cell images in a pattern that echoes puzzle pieces. I visualized using ceramic melting colors on architectural glass to insure that the glass colors will never fade. I envisioned a striking installation that uses both high-tech and fine craftsmanship to engage the public on emotional, intellectual, and visual levels. I have designed and installed past projects where a repetition of colors, textures, and forms create a rhythm enchanting the viewer’s experience.
